Leatherjacket – Rough
The rough leatherjacket also has quite a large dorsal fin. This variety has a large ventral flap. It has three distictive dark brown lines between its eyes. It is cream/brown with dark brown blotches all over its body.
Around 35cm in length.
Most commonly found in the shallow temperate waters of southern Queensland round the the south of Western Australia, but can be found around the whole coastline of Australia.
