Description:


The Queensland Groper is one of the largest fish found in Australian waters. The Queensland Groper has a brown blotched colouration, with a big head and large mouth.

Size:


Weigh in at up to a monsterous 288kg and up to 2.7m in length.

Where:


The Queensland Groper is a bottom dwelling fish caught in the tropical waters of Australia from NSW up to the top end of Queensland and Northern Territory and around to Western Australia.

How:


A strong fish which will give any angler a decent fight. The Queensland Groper will respond well to any large trolled bait. Best to use a heavy line with a snapper sinker to do the job.
