Magrove Jack is also referred to as Red Bream.The Jack varies from greenish brown to a reddish shade. The jack is a medium sized fish with a similar shape to bream. They have a mlarge razor-like teeth. Quite an aggressive fish

Size:


Most commonly caught weighing less than 3 kg. However you do get the occasional prized catch of around 10kg

Where:


The Mangrove Jack is most commonly found in the esturine tropical waters of Australia - in NT, WA and Queensland.

How:


The Mangrove Jack can be caught by trolling, lure or fly fishing, and with live bait.
