Fishing Floats

Floats are designed, as the name suggests, to float and are attached to your rig to keep your bait from hitting the bottom. There are various different types of floats, made from a variety of materials, such as, plastic, rubber and foam. They come in all different shapes, sizes and colours and can be used in any fishing environment.

Types of floats

Bubble – bubble shaped float.

Pencil/quill – long and thin. These floats are sensitive to the smallest nibble – which makes them popular when fishing for the more timid fish species.

Torpedo – made from foam these floats are designed for heavier bait rigs.
